Deep processing of corn is a sequential technological process in which each grain is separated into valuable components. At the Zharkent starch and molasses plant, raw materials are turned into starch, molasses, glucose-fructose syrups and feed products that are in demand in the food industry and animal husbandry.
Acceptance and initial control of raw materials
The production cycle begins with the acceptance of corn. Before sending grain to the technological process, specialists assess its main indicators: appearance, humidity, impurity content and compliance with the established requirements. Such control is necessary not only for safety, but also for the stability of the characteristics of future products.
After laboratory testing, the grain is cleaned of foreign inclusions and sent for storage or directly to production. A systematic approach to acceptance allows you to exclude raw materials that can affect the color, purity or processing properties of the finished product in advance.
Grain preparation and separation of components
At the next stage, the corn is prepared for processing. The goal of the process is to carefully separate the main parts of the grain and obtain the purest fractions. The starch part, germ, protein component and fibrous components are separated from corn.
It is the depth of separation that determines the efficiency of production. The more accurately the equipment works, the more stable the composition of starch and syrups and the more rational the use of raw materials. Automated lines help to control process parameters and reduce the impact of the human factor.
Production of starch, syrups and feed products
The purified starch suspension becomes the basis for the production of native corn starch. Part of the starch is dried and packed, and part is sent for further processing. By controlled hydrolysis, molasses and various types of syrups with specified technological properties are obtained from it.
Protein and fibre fractions are not lost: they are used for the production of corn gluten meal, gluten feed, extract and other feed components. This approach allows for the integrated use of grain and the formation of a wide product line.
Quality control and packaging
Laboratory control accompanies the entire cycle: from raw materials to the finished batch. Parameters that are important for the further use of products at the customer's site are checked. After confirmation of conformity, the product is sent for packaging and storage.
- Starch can be supplied in bags of 25 and 50 kg.
- For large consumers, big bags of 500 and 1000 kg are available.
- The format of shipment is agreed taking into account the product, volume and conditions of transportation.
Why it is important for the client
For a food or industrial enterprise, not only the price of the ingredient is important, but also the repeatability of its characteristics. Stable production technology helps the customer maintain the recipe, quality and appearance of their own products from batch to batch.
The Housing and Communal Processing Plant combines processing, laboratory control, storage and shipment into a single system. Thanks to this, the company can work both with regular large orders and with the individual requirements of partners.
